About The VedaVision Network
Practical tools that solve real problems.
The VedaVision Network is an independent technology company that designs, builds, and
operates practical tools for people who value efficiency, focus, and deliberate use of their time.
We're not a venture-funded startup.
We're not chasing scale at any cost. We're building products our own team is proud to use every day.
How we got here
Before any of this, there were two people with very different backgrounds who somehow arrived at the same belief — that how something is made matters as much as what it does.
Dan came from the corporate world. Enterprise software, architecture, systems built to perform under pressure. He understood how to build things that worked — reliably, efficiently, at scale. What the corporate world didn't always leave room for was intention.
Jamie spent years as a leader in animal welfare, overseeing medical care for animals the system had already written off. The kind of work that teaches you what showing up really means. Philanthropy isn't something Jamie does — it's how she's wired. She has always been drawn to health and wellness, and about ten years ago, an autoimmune diagnosis forced her to slow down in ways she hadn't chosen. She leaned into her healing journey fully — and emerged with a clarity about what actually matters that she now brings to everything she touches.
Dan and Jamie met in the Midwest during COVID — a period that asked everyone, in one way or another, to stop and reconsider. For them it was the beginning of a shared belief that slower and more deliberate wasn't a setback. It was a better way to build.
When they built something together, it was always going to carry both of those things: the precision of someone who knows how to engineer well, and the heart of someone who has spent her life fighting for the ones who needed it most.
2023 — VedaVision begins.
The VedaVision Network started as a video streaming platform built for a specific problem: professionals hosting paid 1:1 sessions and small group livestreams who couldn't find a platform that protected their privacy, paid them quickly, and didn't take an outsized cut of their revenue. We built one. It's still operating today.
2024 — Building the streaming foundation.
Through 2024, we focused on the technical infrastructure: subdomain hosting for presenter profiles, integrated PayPal payouts, end-to-end privacy controls, and an anonymity-first design. We wrote the kind of careful code that holds up under real use because the customer was always going to be someone whose income depended on it working.
2025 — A new opportunity.
In early 2025, we identified a gap: not every video meeting needs an account, a download, or a tracking pixel. MeetFastNow.com was born from that observation. Instant private video meetings in any browser, no login required, no tracking cookies, HIPAA-conscious by design. We built it on the same privacy-first foundation as VedaVision Streaming.
Late 2025 — Everything changed.
A few years earlier, Dan and Jamie had made a deliberate choice — left behind a life that no longer fit and moved to Washington. The Pacific Northwest has a way of slowing things down. That shift had already changed their pace and their priorities long before 2025 arrived. When their home environment was discovered to contain mold, the slowdown that followed was forced rather than chosen — but the groundwork was already there. Recovery meant simplifying further, removing complexity, protecting energy.
Early 2026 — Out of simplicity, SloWriterTM.
In that simpler space handwriting practice as a deliberate, slow, focused activity Dan recognized something worth
building. The act of writing by hand, at a pace the brain could keep up with, had been quietly preserving cognitive
function during a period when so much else was overwhelmed. SloWriter became our first physical product.
A patent-pending writing instrument system designed around the simple insight that slow, deliberate handwriting
trains the brain in ways nothing else does.
The thread connecting our streaming platforms and our pens isn't obvious from the outside. From the inside, it's the
same thread that runs through everything we make: respect for the user, attention to the things that actually matter,
and the conviction that simpler is often better.
Founders
Dan Hedberg — President
Dan has run Dan Hedberg Computing, Inc. as a professional software engineering and enterprise architecture consultancy since 1994, delivering systems for clients including Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab, JPMorgan Chase, and 3M. He co-founded The VedaVision Network in 2023 and remains the company's primary technical and strategic lead.
SloWriter emerged from his own experience returning to handwriting as a recovery practice during the events of late 2025 and from the engineering observation that no commercial pen on the market had been deliberately designed to slow a writer down.
Jamie Hedberg — Co-Founder, Brand Marketing
Jamie co-founded The VedaVision Network and leads brand and marketing across all three product lines. Her perspective shapes how our products are presented, how our customers are spoken to, and how our story is told.
Her grounding in health and wellness, a deeply held philosophy of conscious living, mindful practice and respect for the body's signals informs how VedaVision thinks about the people who use our products. She is the reason VedaVision sounds like a company built by people, not a marketing department.
What we believe
Privacy first. We don't track users across our products. We don't run third-party analytics. We don't sell data. This isn't a future commitment — it's how every VedaVision product is built today.
Built to last. We design products to be useful in five years, not abandoned in eighteen months. Our streaming platform from 2023 is still fully operational with minimal ongoing maintenance.
Practical over trendy. We build what works. Our SloWriter pens, our streaming platform, and our meeting tool have nothing in common visually or technically but each one solves a real problem in the simplest way we could find.
Simpler is better. A lesson learned in 2025. Less complexity, fewer features, more attention to the things that matter.
